The analysis of electromagnetic field (EMF) of low frequency (ELF) applied in magnetotherapy is presented. Particularly the influence of passive metallic knee implant on the distribution of eddy currents is examined. It is shown than the presence of metallic implant causes the increase of eddy currents in tissues up to the value which does not exceed 20 mA/m2 . Thus, it can be concluded that the presence of metallic implant does not influence the therapeutic effect.
