Fenuiwirusy: patogeny człowieka, zwierząt i roślin (Phenuiviridae: human, animal, fungal and plant pathogens)

Abstrakt

The family Phenuiviridae (Bunyavirales), harbors of negative-strand RNA viruses infecting three kingdoms of host organisms: humans and animals, plants and fungi, which is rare in known virus families. Animals, humans, and arthropods serve as natural hosts. Many phenuiviruses are arboviruses and replicate in two distinct hosts - insects and humans or insects and plants. Ticks are the primary vectors for pathogens of domesticated and wild animals and the secondary vectors for pathogens of humans. Multiple phenuivirid species, such as Alenquer virus, Kabuto virus, Bhanja virus, Chandiru virus, Heartland virus, Rift Valley fever virus, Punta Toro virus, Sandfly fever virus, Severe fever with thrombocytopenia, they all are pathogenic for humans. This review draws a panorama for the virus family Phenuiviridae of importance for humans and animals. Moreover, epidemiology, and diagnosis of Phenuiviruses are shortly reviewed
